Nevzat Doğan




Nevzat Doğan was born on 1.11.1959 in Gümüşhane. He had his primary, secondary and high school education in İzmit. After receiving his degree in Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine; he worked as practitioner in Keban and Ağın towns of Elazığ province. Completing his expertise education in İstanbul Şişli Etfal Hospital; he worked as pediatrist in Gerede State Hospital.

He served as doctor and in administrative levels in state health units, state hospitals, state-insurance hospitals, military hospital and private clinics. With his passion for art; he put artistic activities in the center of his life and in 2021 he started his education in Maltepe University Cinema-Television department. Doğan has also double-major in stage arts department at the same faculty; he ranks as the top student for 3 years and continues his education at the 4th class.

Doğan; who has met many people with different socio-cultural level from the different regions of the country and witnessed stories from the life; during his career and in social environment aims to pass these stories to the audience with a social realism style.

During three years as a student in the Cinema and Television department at Maltepe University, he wrote and directed the short films ''The Choice'' , ''Goodbye, My Diary'' ,''The 32nd Article'' and also the documentaries ''Hıfzısıha and Vaccine'' and ''Struggle for Life.''
