Aslolan aklını kaçırmış evsiz bir adamın hikayesidir. Gerçekliğin varolduğu üç
alan vardır; belki de çarpıtılmış bir geçmiş, gerçek ama acı dolu şimdiki zaman
ve sürekli acı çekmesine neden olan sıkıştığı araf. Tüm bu akılsız gerçeklikler
arasında, uzun zamandır kayıp olan bir aşkın çıldırtıcı acısı, ihanetler ve
boğulmalar her şeyi daha da dayanılmaz hale getirir. Tüm bu karmaşanın arasında,
üç genç Datça'ya gelir; deli adamın sıkıştığı o yere. Datça, Ege ve Akdeniz'in
kesiştiği bir cennet olan Knidos antik kentidir. Bu cennette ana karakter
"Tayfun" genç bir asi olan "Poyraz" ile tanışır. Poyraz adama yardım etmeye
çalışır ama aynı zamanda kız arkadaşı ve en yakın arkadaşıyla da başa çıkmaya
çalışmaktadır. En sonunda ünlü rüzgarların adını taşıyan tüm karakterler
atmosferin ağırlıksız havasında kaybolacaktır.
It is a story of a homeless man who has lost his mind. There are three spaces of
reality; his maybe distorted past, his real but painful present and the limbo he
is stuck that makes him constantly suffer. Between all these mindless realities,
his maddening agony of a long lost love, the betrayals and suffocation makes
everything even more unbearable. Between all these mess, three young adults come
to Datca; the place where mad man stuck. Datca is the ancient city of Knidos, a
paradise at the intersection of aegean and mediterranean seas. In this paradise
"Tayfun" the main character meets with "Poyraz" a young rebel. Poyraz tries to
help the guy but also tries to deal with his girlfriend and best friend. But
finally all the characters which named after famous winds will vanish in the
thin air.
Reality is shaped by the way we perceive the world. One of the most beautiful
indicators of this is the human instinct to engage in creative acts. Art plays a
huge role in using these creative acts to bring out new realities. The one art
form that enables us to produce perhaps the most complex structures today, can
be considered “cinema”. A film should pursue creating new perceptions as well as
conveying the story it wants to tell. Rather than telling a story, it should
make the story live. For this reason, it is important for the cinema to have an
Avant-garde approach. The images, sound, music and editing should all create
emotions and thoughts in harmony. These feelings and thoughts created in people,
should create an effect that can be conveyed in a way that has never been felt
or thought before. It is the wonder that makes cinema achieve this incredible
beauty.
