Ahmet Uluçay, a filmmaker who started his filmmaking career with a few friends in a small town in Anatolia with the movie "Boats out of Watermelon Rinds", is an uneducated but genius, poultryman, and truck driver . Many people who try to read his father, his mother, his peasants and his script do not believe him because they do not look behind him. He ends the cult work, in spite of the material difficulties, the strains of the disease, the conviction of self and the others. It receives nearly 40 prizes in domestic and international festivals. He dedicates the reward to his wife, Ayşe, who provides for home, directs the light of the lantern towards the truck while her husband was repairing it, holds the camera while filming. He is a typical example of a person who desires to be understood and supported while struggling with the difficulties which he encountered in the life and struggle to recognize and understand himself. He sticks in the mind as the patience and perseverance. He shows us that a person who believes in himself has no obstacles to overcome the negative conditions. This documentary presents the memories of Ahmet Uluçay with his pacemaker wife, Ayşe Uluçay, his son whom he calls “my best friend”, and the "Tepecik Village Friends of the Cinema Group", who made short films shoulder to shoulder with him.
