Alman Kuzey Ren Westfalya Film Teşvik Fonu’nun katkılarıyla gerçekleştirilen belgesel, seyirciyi, Ara Güler’in insanlarına, onun sanat dünyasına yaklaşabilme kaygısını taşıyor. Özellikle sanat fotoğraflarının konusu olan yaşayan İstanbul filmin çıkış noktasıdır. Ara Güler fotoğraflarını insan sevgisiyle oluşturur. We followed him through the backyards of Istanbul to find out the different faces of a famous town located at the borders of occident and orient. The confrontation with Ara Güler's personality is although a very cloth contact to a self-willed old man. We leave it up to the spectator, to follow us and him and find out the story behind the stills ‚ it's a cloth contact to Istanbul and its inhabitants.
