Sarp Uzunoğlu

Sarp Uzunoğlu 21 Şubat 2001, İstanbul doğumlu. Türk, Rum ve Levanten bir aileden gelme. Lise yıllarında cep telefonuyla çektiği filmler sayesinde sinemaya adım attı. 2022 senesinde La Fémis, Yaz Üniversitesi’ne katıldı ve burada One Aloe, One Ficus, One Avocado and Six Dracaenas (yönetmen, Marta Smerechynska) adlı kısa filmin görüntü yönetmenliğini yaptı. Şu anda Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi’nde eğitimine devam etmektedir. 2024 senesinde ilk kurmaca öğrenci filmi Öteki Melodiler’i çekti

Sarp Uzunoglu was born on February 21, 2001 in Istanbul and still lives in this city. He comes from a Turkish, Greek and Levantine family. Grace to this since he had the chance to grow up in an environment where different cultures and religions coexist. He attended La Fémis, Summer University 2022 and directed a short documentary - Jour Après Jour and also made cinematography for One Aloe, One Ficus, One Avocado and Six Dracaenas (director, Marta Smerechynska). He’s currently studying cinema at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts. In 2024, he directed his first fiction student film, Other Melodies.
