Murat VargelciMurat directed his first short film, Desolate in. 2021, which received two Semi-finalist awards from the Madrid Film Awards Festival and ARFF Berlin Film Festival, and was showcased at festivals worldwide. He graduated from the MFA in Film program at the City College of New York in. 2024. His second short film The Crossbow (2024), won Chantal Akerman award for the script and the movie received National Board of Review Student Grant and Excellence in Editing award from Sara Booth Fund in the same year. He has completed Blue Desire (2024), his third short film recently and both movies are running in the festival circuits.
