Merve Soygazi

I was born and raised in Cyprus, surrounded by stories, poetry, and music that shaped my imagination. Before I found filmmaking, I wrote, acted, and photographed, always searching for ways to capture feelings that are hard to put into words. Cinema became the place where all of these paths came together. I previously took cultural and theoretical classes in Theatre, Film and Media Studies at the University of Vienna, which further deepened my interest in storytelling and visual culture. I am now preparing for further film studies in Europe, eager to continue learning and to grow within an international community of storytellers.
