Sıradan ve yalnız bir hayatı olan Harun evine giderken asansörde Meryem ile karşılaşır. Asansörde aynı kata çıkarken elektrikler kesilir. İki zıt karakter kısa bir sürede birbirini tanımaya ve
kendilerini keşfetmeye başlar.
Harun, who has an ordinary and lonely life, meets Meryem in the elevator on his way home. While going up to the same floor in the elevator, the electricity is cut off. Two opposite characters soon get
to know each other and discover themselves.
''UMBRA'' is actually a scene that represents the turning point of the feature film I have written and plan to shoot in the future. I have always been interested in the development of characters in
films, especially their psychological development. For this reason, in this short version, I wanted to go deep into the characters and human psychology in a short time and create a holistic story.
“UMBRA” tells the story of a man and a woman who examine reality through the shadows and question existence from an unusual perspective. The reason why I chose the elevator as a place in the movie is
that while the two opposite characters get to know each other and thus find their own selves, it is a place where every person feels tense when they are with someone, as if their private space has
been violated, but is comfortable when they are alone and watches themselves in the mirror.
