Kılık kıyafet kanunundan sonra Anadolu’nun bir köyünde,köylülere ait sadece bir
pantolon ve bir şapka vardır.Elbiseler köy muhtarının sorumluluğundadır.Şehre
gitmek isteyen kişi, muhtardan izin alıp öyle gitmektedir.Daha önce hiç şehre
gitmemiş olan Dilo adında bir köylü,bir gün şehre gitmek için muhtardan
elbiseleri ister.Dilo,uzun boylu olduğu için pantolon ona kısa gelmektedir,bu
yüzden muhtardan elbiseleri alamaz.Şehre gitmeyi kafasına koyan Dilo,köy
öğretmeninin elbiselerini çalmaya karar verir.Bu yeni elbiselerle bambaşka bir
kişiye bürünen Dilo,ilk defa gittiği şehir kalabalığında kaybolur.
During the modernatizatuon law in Turkey where men must wear trousers and hats
in the cities, In a small village in eastern Turkey there is man named Dilo who
wants to go to the city to purchase a mirror. Dilo is never been to the city
before and in his village there is only one pair of trousers and a hat that
villagers take turn to wear in order to go to the city. The men in charge is the
chief of the village. Dilo makes his mind and asks for permission from the chief
to go to the city however the modern clothes are small for Dilo. He tries to
find a way to go to the city and Dilo decides to steal the village’s teacher
clothes. Dilo in his new clothes looks like a new person yet he gets lost among
others in the city.
