Caner is the only son of separated parents who split up when he was in high
school. He recently lost his mother and started working as a barista at a café
to stand on his own feet. He has had a strained relationship with his father
since childhood. Caner's father, Adnan, injures his ankle after a fall in his
empty house. Caner's father's neighbour Aysel calls him for help. After
finishing work, Caner sets off on the way to his father's house. Upon arriving
home, Caner and his father sit down to have a meal together. Adnan tries to
initiate a conversation with his son and asks questions about his job. Caner
responds without giving much importance to his father's questions. The
atmosphere becomes tense during the argument about their work-related issues,
and Caner suddenly gets angry in his own world, slams the table, shouting using
words his father once used against him in the past. Adnan remains silent in the
face of his son's outburst. After Caner calms down and back to reality, the
father and son continue eating their meals in silence, still filled with tension.
After a while, they start talking again, and Adnan begins asking Caner about his
mother. Caner evades his father's questions about his mother and responds as if
she is alive, keeping her death a secret from his father as a form of revenge.
