sonra taziyeye komşular sabır dilemeye gelir. Gelen her komşu, yersiz
konuşmalarıyla Behiye’nin üzüntüsünü daha da artırır. Annesi Şukufe Hanım, gelen
misafirleri konuşturmamak, susturmak istese de bunda başarılı olamaz.

Behiye Hanım’s husband Cemal Bey dies at the age of 79 after forty days since
they got married. After the funeral their neighbours come to see Behiye Hanım
and offer condolences but they upset Behiye even more with their stupid talk.
Behiye’s mother Sukufe tries to stop them but she cannot quite manage.
