inançla, umutla, çığlıkla, ıslıkla, bekliyor. İnsanın aklına gelecek gelmeyecek
her şeyi yaparak, her şeyi deneyerek bekliyor. Sabah oluyor, akşam oluyor,
bekliyor. Taşı taşa vurup bekliyor. Taş taşıyor bekliyor. Bekleyecek ve
yitirecek aklı dahi kalmayana kadar...
‘’326’’ 6 Şubat depreminde çocuğunu kaybeden bir babanın hikayesi. Saatlerce
enkaz altından çıkmak için uğraşıp, akabinde çocuğunun çıkarılmasını bekleyen,
onu çıkarmak için uğraşan, çabalayan, bekleyen, yardım isteyen, bulamayan ve
sonunda kaybeden herkesin hikayesi. Baba, günler sonra kendi imkanlarıyla,
elleriyle çocuğunun cenazesini çıkarıyor. Saracak bez, gömecek yer derdine düşüp
sırtlanıyor cenazesini.
A man… waits, talks, shouts, yells, falls silent, explains, demands answers,
asks questions, waits. He waits with patience, with hope, with anger, with
rebellion, with calm, with faith, with hope, with a scream, with a whistle. He
waits. Doing everything he can think of — and even what he can’t — he waits.
Morning comes, evening comes; he waits. Striking stone against stone, he waits.
Carrying stones, he waits. Until he has no mind left even to wait…
""326"" — the story of a father who lost his child in the February 6 earthquake.
The story of everyone who struggled for hours to get out from under the rubble,
then waited for their child to be rescued, fought to save them, tried, waited,
called for help, found none — and, in the end, lost them.
Days later, the father, with his own means and his own hands, recovers his
child’s body. He burdens himself with finding cloth to wrap it in, a place to
bury it, and, finally, he shoulders the body.
