Emir Külal Haznevi Emir Külal Haznevi is a disabled with reduced mobility Syrian filmmaker based in İstanbul. He was born on 15th April 1986 in Qamishli, Syria. He graduated from Marmara University Radio Cinema and Tv in the Faculty of Communication. He’s studying Philosophy at Anadolu University. He founded Saudade Film in 2015. He created and produced more than 220 episodes of tv documentary series. He’s the Turkish co-producer of the film “ It all ends here” by Rajko Grlic, produced by Mike Downey and Agnieszka Holland’s “”The Green Border” Currently he’s working on his first feature film in development “ The Sun, The Moon and The Eleven Stars” expected to be completed in 2024. The project is supported by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and won the TRT pre-buy award.
