It takes place in a dystopic universe where red and apples are forbidden. Pigeon
violates these prohibitions. She wonders the reason of the prohibitions and sets
out to search.
Director Statement
Man constantly avoids tampering with the normative. It is even distant to the
thought itself. The reason for this is the misrepresentation or abuse of social
upside-down relationships.
The history of modern life from the ancient world is a history of domination
relations. Monopolizing the truth, the power of the minority wants to disappear
in the halls of silence. Before society, it is necessary to be an individual.
From the moment the individual becomes aware of his / her self, he begins to
question and think. However, a hegemonic structure is constructed without the
opportunity for most individuals to reach self-consciousness. The individual
facing this situation takes refuge in indifference or his own isolated life. I
wanted to emphasize this issue in this film I want to shoot. I have developed a
free cinematic narrative to the character of conatus against a contoured life,
determined by the inability to provide the usual, to the yoke of
authoritarianism. The first part of the story had a stool on its back; it is a
manifestation of not being able to feel belonging to any place where he wanders.
I created a minor cosmos over Pigeon in order to create an imaginary praxis for
ontological aberrations or theological assumptions.
I think that the problems should be handled through the individual before the
society. Indifference should be seen as a "paralysis" like Chekhov. The
individual can build his ethos by getting rid of the chains of the determined,
which is made possible only by freeing from social or normative doxas.
