One who suffers debates with their childhood, and then earns its forgiveness.
They emerge into the light carrying the toll of past pain.
In this life, we encounter events—and the people who create them—that tarnish
our childhood. Unfortunately, most of us betray that childhood; we find
ourselves standing right on the threshold of everything bad. But which of us can
look our childhood in the eye amidst that damage? That is precisely why we must
wash ourselves clean of that harm and seek forgiveness from our childhood. And
we must step onto the threshold of everything good.
