Anne ölmek üzeredir, hastadır. Oğlu Kemal'in onu terk etmesini istemez. En
azından o öldükten sonra gitmesine razıdır ama Kemal annesi ölürse asla
gidemeyeceğini düşünür. Anne öldüğünde, Kemal kalacak ya da gidecek bir yeri
olmadığını fark eder.
The mother is close to her death, she is sick. And she doesn't want her son
Kemal to leave her. At least he is willing to go after his death, but Kemal
thinks that if his mother dies, he will never be able to go. When the mother
dies, Kemal realizes that he has no place to stay or go.
Director Statement
When I realize that nature is insensitive to us and our families are far from
understanding us; At that time, I thought a lot about who and what people should
ask for a support. It was that time that I met Selim İleri's story named The
Last Day of Friendships. That's when I realized that the only place that will
understand us and we could be ourselves when we are there is next to our friends
who similar to us. The Last Day of Friendship was actually a movie of feelings
and disappointment. The feeling of the moment we realize that we saw someone we
love for the last time.
