An old lady tells the story of a dream she had after the devastating earthquake
in southern Turkey.
To my memories lost between stone and soil, to my loved ones A total of 62,000
people died in the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes that occurred on February
6, 2023. This short film was made as a way to commemorate those who have passed
away, along with our great-aunt Naile Güzel, who is seen at the beginning. The
voice recording heard in the film belongs to Necla Doğan, one of the family
elders, who recounted the dream she had on the first day of the earthquake.
