Soma faciası, 13 Mayıs 2014'te Türkiye'nin Manisa ilinin Soma ilçesindeki kömür
madeninde çıkan yangın nedeniyle 301 madencinin ölümüyle Türkiye Cumhuriyeti
tarihinin en çok can kaybı ile sonuçlanan iş kazasıdır. Faciada yakınlarını
kaybeden insanların acılarına toplum olarak ortak ve destek olmak amacıyla bu
kısa belgesel çekilmiş, hayatlarını kaybeden 301 madenciden sadece 1 tanesine ve
ailesinin hikayesine odaklanılmıştır.

Soma Mine Disaster
Soma Mine Disaster in Manisa province due to a fire in a coal mine in Soma
district has resulted in the deaths of 301 miners on May 13th, 2014.and it is
the most fatal occupational accident in the history of Turkey. This short
documentary was shot in order to support and share the sufferings of people who
lost their relatives. The documentary focuses on only 1 of the 301 miners who
lost their lives and the story of their family.
