Bitlis’in Hizan ilçesine bağlı Uzuntaş köyünde geçen bu belgesel, çetin kış
koşullarının ortasında eğitim vermeye çalışan bir köy öğretmeni ile üç
öğrencisinin hikâyesini konu alıyor. Karla kapanan yollar, kesilen iletişim
ağları ve giderek ağırlaşan doğa şartları, köyü dış dünyadan tamamen koparıyor.
Öğretmen, tüm zorluklara rağmen sınıfın kapısını her gün açık tutarak çocuklara
umut olmaya devam ediyor.
Set in the village of Uzuntaş, in the Hizan township of Bitlis, this documentary
tells the story of a village teacher and his three students as they strive to
continue their education amid harsh winter conditions. Snow-blocked roads,
severed communication lines, and increasingly harsh natural conditions
completely cut the village off from the outside world. Despite all the
challenges, the teacher continues to keep the classroom door open every day,
offering hope to the children.
