Yelkenkaya Deniz Feneri’nde çalışan Ahmet Gül; karısı, oğlu ve annesi ile
birlikte yaşamaktadır. 1997 yılında annesinin emekli olması ile Ahmet Gül
bekçiliğe talip olur. Belgeselde Ahmet Gül ve Sacide Gül bu süreçlerden
bahseder. Fener elektrik gelmeden önce kurmalı sistem ile çalışmaktadır. Bu
sistem 1.5 saatte bir kurmayı gerektirmektedir. Teknoloji ile deniz fenerinin
çalışma sisteminin nasıl değiştiği ele alınır. Ayrıca deniz feneri bekçiliğinin
artık var olmayacağından bahsedilir. Deniz fenerinde 4. Kuşak olarak çalışan
Ahmet Gül burada ayrıca mirasını, tarihini de yaşatmaktadır.
