One Giant Leap is a perspective of how human in the role of “architect” transformed the skin of the earth through
evolutional process. Design consciousness was a milestone for the form of the materials. The architect who didn’t obey
the rules of nature began to create its own built environment.
As some may notice the “monolith” idea of the book “2001: A Space Odyssey” by legendary author Arthur C. Clark
influenced the fiction of the film by representing the milestone of evolution. Metaphorically, in ancient years, the
architect started to design with the awareness after seeing the first footprint which belongs to Neil Armstrong from the
Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969. “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”
