A group of German and Canadian women came to Turkey for a Mother
Goddess tour in May 1998.
The objective of this tour was to compare new images of femininity and to
discover the deeply embedded personalities. While our film team followed them
step by step we en countered the call of the Goddess in a manner which we had
not expected. This was a call for unity. It was a call that was mixed with the
call of Mevlana and the Mevlevis in Konya.
It was a call made for the unity of the female and male aspects within all of
us.
It was a call which expresses that we will never be a whole without bringing the
subconscious and darknesses into the light in our age when the femininity within
us is suppressed in response to the inflated ego, consciousness, male power and
energy.
