Merve Çirişoğlu

Merve Çirişoğlu ödüllü animasyon yönetmeni, yapımcısı ve eğitmenidir. Lisansını Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesinde onur derecesiyle, yüksek lisansını İngiltere'de University of The Arts London'da birincilikle tamamladı. Animasyonları Youtube'ta 13 milyona yakın izleyiciyle buluştu. Çalışmalarından birisi olan The Box kısa animasyon filmi, 250'yi aşkın uluslararası film festivalinin özel seçkisinde yer aldı ve "En İyi Animasyon", "Büyük Ödül" gibi 45 ödülün sahibi oldu. Çirişoğlu, kurucusu olduğu Animatick Arts şirketinde çeşitli kişi ve kurumlara animasyon ve eğitim hizmetleri veriyor. Yusuf Cat Stevens’ın animasyonlu çocuk şarkıları projesinin tasarımlarını ve yönetmenliğini yapıyor ve çocuklara yönelik çeşitli projelerin yazarlığını ve yönetmenliğini yapıyor. Karton Kutu çocuk kitabını yazan Çirişoğlu, İngiltere, Tanzanya, Gürcistan, Yunanistan gibi çeşitli ülkelerde film festivallerinde sunumlar ve atölyeler hazırladı. Birleşmiş Milletler tarafından New York'a davet edilerek ödüllendirildi ve TEDxReset'te hikayesini binlerce seyirciyle paylaştı.

The director, storyteller, designer and producer of the project, Merve Cirisoglu, is an award-winning animation artist and educator, who is passionate about creating 2D content. She provides animation and education services for companies and individuals including Yusuf Cat Stevens through her independent creative studio, Animatick Arts, based in London. As a determined artist who is holding a master’s degree in Animation at University of the Arts London with Distinction and BA in the Faculty of Education at Bogazici University with Honors Degree, she blends her art and education background to tell engaging and educative stories with memorable characters through the art of animation. She strives to create unique productions that speak to the hearts of children and contribute to spreading peace and goodness. In addition to her professional journey, she has been volunteering for disadvantaged children since 2011. She is the founder and chairwoman of Iyilikhane Association for Children whose activities were recognised in national and international media and awarded with a "Courage Award", a "Communicator Award" and an "International Kindness Award". She was invited by the United Nations as the top filmmaker to present her multi-award winning animated movie about the story of refugee children, The Box, at the UN Headquarters, and shared her story from voluntary based social projects to animated shorts on the TEDx stage and at several film festivals in the UK, Pakistan, Georgia, Greece, Turkey and Spain.
