Zeugma is the Roman Ancient city in the Southeastern Anatolia. Also Belkıs is a village which was settled down near the ancient city. Zeugma and Belkıs Village affected by the Birecik Dam.

In the year 2000, it will be affected by the Birecik Dam Reservoir together with 44 villages settled on the two sides of the river. Some of these villages will completely or partially be flooded. 28 thousand people will be affected by the Dam.

The documentary aims to record the Zeugma excavations from 1998 till 2001, the year the Dam Lake is completed. And also record the changing of life of villagers, building the new village and the building of the dam.
