Işık Yenersu,the unforgettable stage actress ,whom we see in the spotlights of the theatre for more than 40 years...

She is in the memories of the theatre lovers with her acting in the plays like,”Taming of the Shrew” “I Promise” ”All My Sons”.She also had the leading roles in cinema films and presented in numerous documentaries. The viewers never forgot her voice for she dubbed almost all the leading female during the heydays of American serials on TRT,the Turkish Radio&TV. İn 70s..“Mc Millan and his Wife” was one of them and was the favorite of Turkish spectators.



She won the award of “ The Best Actress of the Year-1995” in the International Film Festival of Alexandria,Egypt, with her acting in “Don’t go Triandaphilis” directed by Tunç Başaran. She also won the award of” the Lifelong Success “of Muhsin Ertuğrul Awards in 2004.



She always fought for her principles.She was always strong and unyielding.
She suffered the two military coups in 1970 and 1980.But that tough woman was always elegant,beautiful, and fragile “ That’s why we named her biographical documentary as “The Tough and Fragile Diva of Theatre”

The documentary offers us a view of the lives of artists of 70s , 80s and 90s..We witness the events of her 40 years in the theatre through the eyes of her colleagues,artists and writers.To give an example Yıldız Kenter,the stage actress; İlhan Selçuk,the journalist,Prof Sevda Sener, the academics.And many others...
