Güneş Özayten Born at 1979, in Kadıköy/Istanbul. At 2005 he was graduated from Mimar Sinan University (Istanbul)Of Fine Arts, Fine Arts Faculty Cinema-Tv Section. ( At University, he was the student of some of the well-known film directors of Turkish cinema like Metin Erksan, Ömer Lütfi Akad and Memduh Ün.) At 2009 he was graduated from the master program of Maltepe University Of Communication Faculty Cinema-Tv Section(Istanbul). At 2017, he was graduated from the proficiency in art program with the fiction short film which he wrote the script and directed called “The Wedding Candy” from Marmara University The Faculty Of Fine Arts Cinema-Tv Section. Between 2009-2018 he was worked at FMV Işık University Faculty Of Fine Arts (Istanbul) as a lecturer, and between 2018-2019 he worked as an assistant professor at Nişantaşı University Faculty Of Social Sciences New Media Section (Istanbul). From 2019, he had been working at Kafkas University Faculty Of Fine Arts Cinema-Tv Section(Kars) as an assistant professor. Özayten is both working academic and artistic. He’s shooting documentaries about conceptual art practices and traditions about Anatolia and Turkey.
