An artificial intelligence learns iconic scenes from cinema history. It collects the visual memory from Lumière to Kubrick in an algorithmic memory. It reproduces these scenes without using a camera, only data and codes. Each frame builds a digital bridge between the past and the future. The spirit of the classics enters the body of modern technology. The viewer is surprised by these familiar but foreign images. Is ‘cinema’ possible without a camera!

Cinema has been an art of movement since it first left its mark with Louis Le Prince's Roundhay Garden Scene (1888), even before the Lumière Brothers. From the montage theory that Eisenstein cemented with Battleship Potemkin to the present day, cinematic language has continuously evolved. Now, artificial intelligence technologies are adding a new dimension to this evolution - movement without a camera.

AI is no longer just a tool, but a co-director. The audience experiences the first steps in Roundhay Garden, the screams on the stairs of Potemkin, this time in an algorithmic dream. Movement now 'lives' in code.
