The story named "Bathtub" presented three different tales revolving around a
bathtub. Around this bathtub, people bathed, rested, had fun, made love, and
committed suicide. The bathtub was fed and filled with water by pipes connected
to people depicted as part of the system. The stories of the people in the
bathtub unfolded around these individuals. While one group of people used the
bathtub, another group was enslaved to fill it, functioning as machines. The
film offered both a satire on the world order and a questioning of life itself.
In the end, the source people were exhausted, and the people in the bathtub were
found dead inside it. The entire system was merely a network of pipes, and when
the system failed, it collapsed. All of this was blended through a combination
of frame-by-frame drawings and video.
