İstanbul'da şehrin ortasında, bir bahçedeki kameriyeyi saran mor salkım
sarmaşığı ilkbaharın gelmesiyle deli gibi açar. Açan çiçekler ve ziyaretçileri,
aynı pergolanın altındaki akan havuzun suyu gibi zamanla akıp geçerler.
In the middle of the city at Istanbul, there is an ivy-encircled pergola on an
apartment backyard. As spring arrives, the wisteria sinensis ivy blooms
preposterously. With the outbreak of the pandemic and Covid lock downs, Faruk
dedicates himself to film this ivy and its purple flowers. As he gets closer, he
begins to fall in love. After a while, he finds himself in a documentary project,
which indeed was his childhood dream.
This documentary perhaps is an effort to immortalize his love and affection for
the ivy and its flowers, just before his departure to live at another place.
Booming wisteria flowers and their visitors flow over the time, just like water
stream over the pond, all under the same pergola.
