Animasyon Film Yarışması

Meksika'nın bağımsızlığını kazanmasının 200. Yıldönümünde ''2110 Projecting the Future'' konulu bir animasyon film yarışması düzenlenecektir. Festival of Liberties 2010

Hello!
As you perhaps learned it, the Festival of Liberties 2009 was a nice success (more than 15.000 participants)

Another positive point : the Screenings which develop each year a little more.
For this edition 2009, the participation of Commissioning Editors of several public European TVs and international distributors allowed agreements of sale for more than thirty films.

The 10th edition of our festival will take place this year in the National Theatre of Belgium (October 21 till 30).

As each year, we are in search of documentaries entering the central theme of the festival : liberties and rights of the human being.

Three prizes of a value of 5.000 € each one will be awarded :

Award of Festival of Liberties 2010 (this amount is intended for the promotion of the film)
Prize Lichtpunt TV 2010 (consists of the purchase of the film by VRT (Vlaamse Radio & Televisie).
Prize RTBF 2010 (consists of the purchase of the film by (Radio-Télévision Belge Francophone).

Other prizes will be awarded : Special Prize of the Jury, Human Rights International League award, Amnesty award… etc.

In addition, in order to support the diffusion of the films, the principal Commissioning editors of the European TVs (Arte, France 2, RTE, SVT, RTBF, VRT, OUR, RTVE, TSR, ZDF… etc) and international distributors, will be invited to come to the Screenings (cost of stay in Brussels supporting by the festival) to view all the preselected films.

You will find herewith, the regulation of the festival and the entry form.

Did you produce or directed a film corresponding to the criteria (see Regulation) and the themes of our festival and are you interested to take part in the festival and the screenings?
If the answer is yes, can you send to me (before June 1) a DVD of the film as well as the entry form completed?

If you do not have a film to propose but know colleagues who could be interested … Could you communicate this information to them?

Boston Kısa Film ve Belgesel Yarışması'na Başvurular Başladı

29 Ekim ve 18 Aralık tarihleri arasında yapılacak olan 15. Boston Türk Kültür ve Sanat Festivali kapsamında düzenlenecek olan Belgesel ve Kısa Film Yarışması'na başvurular başladı. Yarışmaya başvuru süresi 10 Eylül 2010 tarihinde sona eriyor. Türkiye'de ve yurtdışındaki tüm yönetmen ve yapımcılara açık olan yarışmaya başvuruda bulunacak filmler için herhangi bir konu kısıtlaması bulunmuyor. Ancak, filmlerin festival tarihinden önceki iki yıl içinde (2008) çekilmiş olması ve İngilizce altyazılı ya da İngilizce olması şartları aranıyor. Yarışmaya her yönetmen veya yapımcı sadece tek bir filmle katılabilecek. Belgesel ve Kısa Film Yarışması'nda yarışmanın yani sıra ve yarışma dışı gösterim programları da yer alıyor.

2006 yılından beri her yıl düzenlenmekte olan Kuzey Amerika'nın ilk Türk belgesel ve kısa film yarışmasının finalist filmleri 3-8 Aralık 2010 tarihleri arasında Boston Güzel Sanatlar Müzesi ve Boston Üniversitesi'nde gösterilecek. Seyirciler de "En İyi Belgesel" ve "En İyi Kısa Filmi" belirlemek için oy kullanabilecekler. Ödül alan filmler 2011'de 10. Boston Türk Film Festivali programında da yer alacak.

GENÇ YETENEKLER, KISA METRAJ DOKÜMANTERİNİZİ HEMEN GÖNDERİN!

MODE İstanbul Film ve Dijital Sanatlar Girişimi, Avrupa Kültür Vakfı'nın Gençlik ve Medya Programı (European Cultural Foundation - Youth and Media Program) Türkiye partneri olarak, bu yıl 18-28 Kasım 2010'da düzenlenecek Uluslararası Amsterdam Dokumanter Film Festivali IDFA (www.idfa.nl) kapsamında değerlendirmeye alınmak üzere 30 yas ve altı genç yeteneklerce çekilmiş maksimum 10 dakikalık yaratıcı kisa metraj dokümanter (belgesel) filmler arıyor!

Flickerfest 2011 - Call for Entries

Flickerfest 20th International Australian Short Film Festival Bondi Pavilion, Bondi Beach, Sydney, Australia 7th -16th January 2011, then touring nationally from January to March 2011

Flickerfest, Australia's only Academy® Award accredited and BAFTA recognised Short Film festival, and its largest short film competition, is accepting entries from around the world, for the 2011 Festival, celebrating 20 years of the best short films from around the world. Flickerfest will screen for 10 days at Bondi Beach in January 2011 before heading off on a national tour..

For 2011, the Festival will have five competitive programmes

* International
* Australian
* Documentary
* GreenFlicks - for films with an environmental focus or theme - open to films from anywhere in any genre.
* Flickerup- Open to school age film makers from across Australia - in any genre

As well as a number of special showcases and forums out of competition.

The FLICKERFEST International Competition is open to any short film available for screening on 35mm. The Australian, Documentary, GreenFlicks and Flickerup Competitions are open to any short film available for screening on 35mm, Betacam video.

An international jury will award the following prestigious awards and prizes:


* The Flickerfest Award for Best Short Film (Academy® Accredited)
* Yoram Gross Award For Best Animation Short Film (Academy® Accredited)
* Flickerfest Award for Best Australian Short Film
* National Geographic Award for Best Short Documentary Film
* Icebergs Dining Room and Bar Award for Best Direction in an Australian short film

plus a host of other Awards and Industry prizes

Films must be under 35 minutes & have been completed within 2 years of the closing dates.

Films must be in English or have English subtitles. Due to the competitive nature of the Festival, Flickerfest prefers NSW premieres and films that have not been broadcast or made available for download in Australia.

ENTRY DEADLINES:

International entries must be received by 5pm, FRIDAY 17th SEPTEMBER 2010
Flickerup School Shorts and Greenflicks environmental shorts must be received by Friday 22nd of October
